Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing a toughening compatilizer system by using polyphenyl ether as a base material, which comprises the following steps: (1) weighing maleic anhydride and butanone in proportion, and stirring and dissolving the maleic anhydride and the butanone, or adding a second monomer (caprolactam), and stirring and dissolving the second monomer, then adding an accelerating agent to the mixture, and stirring the mixture into a transparent mixed solution; (2) evenly mixing PPO or the PPO and a modifying material (SEBS) which are weighed in proportion in a mixer; and (3) adding the transparent mixed solution into the mixer, then mixing the mixtures evenly, and adding the well-mixed material into a hopper of a reactive extrusion dicing cutter to perform blendingreaction and extrusion grain-sized dicing by a metering input extruder at a temperature of between 200 and 260 DEG C so as to obtain a corresponding PPO compatilizer system; and (4) using PPO-g-MAH orPPOg-(MAH-Co-CALA) and SEBS-g-(MAH-Co-St) or SEBS-g-MAH in the PPO compatilizer system, adding an auxiliary agent, and mixing the materials in proportion to prepare a compound toughening compatilizersystem which is sued for PPO toughening alloy.
