Abstract

The invention provides a carbon paste electrode, which can greatly improve the performances of the carbon paste electrode such as electrical conductivity, electrochemical activity, stability and the like. The carbon paste can greatly improve the electrical conductivity and the electron transfer rate of the electrode, and simultaneously can improve the stability of the electrode. The invention also provides a method for preparing the electrode, which comprises the following steps of: mixing a conducting carbon material with the triphenylamine, and then sufficiently grinding and mixing the mixture; stuffing the even mixture into a clean electrode sleeve, compacting the mixture, and inserting a conducting wire in the rear part of the mixture to prepared a semi-finished product of the electrode; and heating the prepared semi-finished product in a bakingoven, and when the conducting carbon material is combined with the triphenylamine, cooling the mixture at the normal temperature.
