The method effectively removes COD, BOD, SS, heavy metal, ammonia, nitrogen and phosphorus in the sewage and can realize self oxygenation without power; the sewage can be well biodegraded, and the modified soil is taken as the main filler of the wet lands, thereby effectively avoiding that the traditional artificial wet land is easy to be blocked by the filler.
