Abstract

Two pairs of PRC molecular marker primers for specifically amplifying paddy endosperm low amylose content control gene Wx-mq and an allelic gene Wx-b thereof are used, wherein a forward general primer 1Wx-b-F of the Wx-b and the Wx-mq, a reverse primer 11Wx-b-R of the Wx-b and a reverse primer 11Wx-mq-R of the Wx-mq perform common amplification on the DNA of japonica rice varieties or materials, and can distinguish genotypes of the Wx-mq gene and the allelic gene thereof accurately. Developed peculiar PCR markers of the allelic gene are utilized to perform the paddy endosperm low amylose seed breeding and the improvement of rice quality.
