Abstract

The invention relates to an embedded light mechanical arm controller. The embedded light mechanical arm controller comprises a teach box controller and an embedded master-slave digital signal processing (DSP) controller which are connected together, wherein the teach box controller comprises a microprocessor I which is connected with a human-machine interface unit and the embedded main-slave DSP controller respectively; the embedded main-slave DSP controller comprises a microprocessor II and a microprocessor III; the microprocessor II is connected with the microprocessor I and a double-port random access memory (RAM) respectively; the double-port RAM is connected with the microprocessor III; the microprocessor III is connected with a motion control chip I and a motion control chip II respectively; the motion control chip I and the motion control chip II are connected with a motor driver, an origin switch and a limiting switch respectively; the motor driver is connected with a motor; and an output shaft of the motor is connected with a mechanical arm. The invention also discloses a control method for an embedded light mechanical arm. The controller has the advantages of light weight, high processing speed, low cost, high stability and easy functional expansion.
