Abstract
The invention discloses a method for transmitting precision clock synchronization protocol messages, an apparatus and a system thereof, belonging to the field of communication, wherein the method comprises the following steps: sending a detection request message carrying random numbers to a server apparatus via an event messages port; receiving detection response messages returned by the server apparatus via the event messages port; according to the random numbers, addresses and port numbers carried in the detection response messages, determining the addresses and the port numbers of the event messages port converted by the network address; and noticing the addresses and the port numbers of the event messages port converted by the network address to the server apparatus in unicast consultation process. In the method provided by the invention, the determined addresses and the port numbers of the event messages port converted by the network address is informed to the server apparatus via a client apparatus so that the server apparatus initiates the event messages according to the address and the port number, thereby transmitting the precision clock synchronization protocol messages in NAT (Network Address Translation) network.
