Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for testing the phase error estimation of a synthetic aperture sonar system. The system is characterized by comprising a sonar echo signal calculation module, an analogue output module and a test evaluation module, wherein the sonar echo signal calculation module is used for calculating a sonar echo digital signal according to set working parameters, sonar basic matrix motion information, analogue scene information and phase error information e(y); the analogue output module is used for converting the sonar echo digital signal output by the sonar echo signal calculation module into a sonar echo analogue signal, and inputs the sonar echo analogue signal to the synthetic aperture sonar system for estimating to obtain a phase error e1(y); and thetest evaluation module is used for finishing testing the phase error estimation performance of the synthetic aperture sonar system by comparing the phase error e1(y) estimated by the synthetic aperture sonar system with the phase error information e(y) of an initially generated sonar echo signal.
