Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing isobutene by adopting an esterification method. The method for preparing isobutene comprises the steps of: carrying out selective esterification reaction between organic acid and isobutene under the action of strongly acidic catalysts; and decomposing generated tertiary butyl alcohol carboxylic ester again to obtain starting carboxylic acid and isobutene so as to reach the purposes of purification and separation, wherein the adopted carboxylic acid is acetic acid, and the catalysts are sulphuric acid, boron trifluoride, cation exchange resin and the like. The method for preparing isobutene disclosed by the invention is one of the best methods for preparing isobutene.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a chemical product, in particular to a technique for preparing isobutene by an esterification method, which is suitable for chemical synthesis of isobutene. Background technique [0002] Isobutene (CH3) 2C=CH2 is also known as 2-methylpropene. Flammable and explosive gas (explosive limit 1.7% to 9.0% volume), boiling point -6.90°C, critical temperature 144.75°C, critical pressure 4.00MPa. Isobutene is almost exclusively obtained from refinery gases and cracked C4 fractions (see C4 fractions). The content of isobutene in refinery gas is generally 5% to 12%, and the content of cracked C4 fraction is generally 20% to 30%. In a few cases, it is obtained by the catalytic dehydrogenation of isobutane using a chromia-alumina catalyst. When propylene and isobutane are used as raw materials to produce propylene oxide by co-oxidation, isobutene is its co-product. Separation of isobutene from the C4 fraction is usually carried out aft...
