A microbial type time-temperature indicator for low-temperature circulation items comprises a time-temperature indicator and a color comparison card. The time-temperature indicator comprises a container, wherein nutrition substrate, a potential of hydrogen (PH) indicating agent and microbes are stored in the container. The nutrition substrate is nutrient substance needed by growth of the microbes and is mixed by 10g/L dextrose, 2g/L ammonium sulfate and 5g/L NaCl solution according to the mass ratio of 1: 0.18-0.23: 0.47-0.52. The PH indicating agent is a methyl red and bromocresol green mixed indicating agent mixed by 72-77 wt% of bromine cresol green ethanol solution with concentration of 0.1% and 23-28 wt% of methyl red ethanol solution with concentration of 0.2%. The PH indicating agent and the nutrition substrate are mixed according to the mass ratio of 1: 98-103. The microbes are lactobacillus GG (LGG). The microbial type time-temperature indicator for the low-temperature circulation items utilizes the growth and metabolism of the LGG to produce acid and utilizes mixed methyl red and bromocresol green as the indicating agent so that variable color changes can be produced, and the purpose of indicating a time-temperature history experienced by foods is achieved.
