Abstract

The invention discloses a soil section analysis device, which comprises an image collecting unit and central processing unit. The image collecting unit comprises an illumination device used for providing illumination for a soil section to be tested, an image collecting device used for collecting images to a soil section sample and an image data transmission interface used for transmitting the image data to the central processing unit. The central processing unit comprises a main controller used for controlling the operation of the whole device, human-machine interaction and data processing. The human-machine interface is used for receiving user instructions and displaying images and processing results. The central processing unit controls the operation of the image collecting unit and receives the image data collected by the image collecting unit. The device can operated in semi-automation mode under manual assist so as to improve speed and efficiency of soil section analysis. The invention further provides a soil section analysis method. Due to the fact that a quantitative analysis method is adopted, the analysis result is fair and objective and high in reliability.
