Abstract

The insecticidal composition containing the fosthiazate consists of a first active ingredient and a second active ingredient novel chloronicotinyl insecticide selected from cycloxaprid, acetamiprid, thiamethoxam, clothianidin and thiacloprid, wherein the weight ratio of the first active ingredient to the second active ingredient is 1:30-30:1 and preferably is 1:20-20:1. The insecticidal composition can be prepared into wettable powder, missible oil, suspension emulsion and granules which are allowable agriculturally. The insecticidal composition is reasonable in ingredients, good in insecticidal effect and low in pesticide cost, and the activity and the insecticidal effect are not produced by simple superposition of activity of the ingredients.
