Abstract

A system and a method of chip mounter quick positioning based on field programmable gate array (FPGA) is formed by an imaging system, an illuminating system, an image acquisition system, an image processing system, a target identification system and a system-on-a-programmable-chip (SOPC) control system. All systems are connected together with the SOPC control system as a center, the illuminating system is the self-adaption light source system of a chip mounter, the imaging system directly collects the images of body surfaces by using imaging sensors, the image acquisition system reads image data and outputs and connects the image data to the image processing system, and the image processing system processes the image data and outputs the image data to the target identification system. The system and the method of the chip mounter quick positioning based on the FPGA establishes an image acquisition system and a data processing platform aiming to the self-adaption light source system of the chip mounter, the image acquisition system uses the FPGA as a core to achieve the high-speed processing and the target identification of digital images, improves the running speed and the positioning precision of the system, and reduces the cost and the complexity of equipment.
