Abstract

The invention discloses a feedback control converging mechanism based on a simulated annealing algorithm in an optical burst-switched network. A novel converging node simulation model is established, and a core node function is added, thereby feeding back packet loss information of a core node in the optical burst-switched network to a fringe node, and a burst data converging threshold appropriate to core node conditioning is found through the fringe node according to the simulated annealing algorithm. A simulation result shows that the converging mechanism can effectively reduce the packet loss and adapt to self-similar service streams better so as to improve the performance of the optical burst-switched network.
