The shock absorber tension and pressure measuring instrument comprises a supporting frame, wherein the supporting frame is provided with an operation desk; a motor is arranged below the operation desk; the output shaft of the motor vertically penetrates through the operation desk and is connected with a transmission component in a driving way; the outer end of the transmission component is movably connected onto a sliding component; a tension and pressure detection position is arranged on the sliding component; a tension and pressure sensor is positioned on the tail end of the tension and pressure detection position; the tension and pressure sensor is connected with an amplifier filter, an A/D (Analog/Digital) converter, a microprocessor and an upper computer in sequence; and the microprocessor controls and is connected with the motor through a driving circuit. The detection method of the shock absorber tension and pressure measuring instrument comprises the steps of pressure collection, conversion, judging, storage, transmission, motor control and the like.
