Abstract

The invention discloses a double-receiving and double-transmitting modulator-demodulator of a satellite. The modulator-demodulator is characterized by comprising a base band modulation-demodulation unit, an L-wave band intermediate frequency unit, a monitoring unit and a power supply feed control unit, wherein the base band modulation-demodulation unit comprises two groups of digital-analog and analog-digital apparatuses arranged in parallel, a field-programmable gate array chip and an embedded processor. The embedded processor is provided with an ethernet interface, a serial data interface and a 32-bite bus wide PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) interface. The modulator-demodulator disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects of being high in integration level, small in size, light in weight and strong in universality; the signal to noise ratio threshold for channel demodulation is lower than 3.5dB, and reliable communication under a low signal to noise ratio condition is ensured; the modulator-demodulator can be agilely and conveniently used by a user, the cost of renting satellite wideband resources is saved, and meanwhile, services at different rates are provided; the transmission efficiency can be effectively improved, and the bandwidth is saved.
