Abstract

The invention provides a novel heat preserving construction material which comprises a bamboo material and a steel material. The steel material is of a hollow structure and wraps the bamboo material. A heat preserving layer is arranged on the outer surface of the steel material. A corrosion preventing layer is arranged outside the heat preserving layer. The two ends of the steel material are provided with corrosion preventing covers. The novel heat preserving construction material has the advantages of being simple in structure, low in cost, capable of protecting the environment and being regenerated, and quite strong in elasticity and tenacity due to small contraction amount of bamboos. Moreover, raw materials of the construction material can be obtained easily. The construction material has high extension strength comparative to that of rebar, develops new green resources which are inexhaustible, and protects the ecology environment.
