Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of a sleeve shaft of a control rod drive mechanism (CRDM) in a nuclear power plant. The method comprises the following steps: 1) selecting raw materials and obtaining molten steel by techniques of electric furnace smelting, AOD (Argon Oxygen Decarburization) refining and LF (Ladle Furnace) refining; 2) pouring the molten steel to form a steel ingot, wherein the steel ingot contains the following components by weight percent: less than or equal to 0.05% to 0.06% of C, less than or equal to 0.75% of Si, less than or equal to 2.00% of Mn, less than or equal to 0.030% of P, less than or equal to 0.50% of Cu, 18.00% to 18.50% of Cr, 10.50% to 11.00% of Ni, less than or equal to 0.015% of S, less than or equal to 0.10% of Co, less than or equal to 0.001% of B, less than or equal to 0.15% of Nb+Ta, 0.06% to 0.07% of N and the balance of Fe; 3) forging the steel ingot to form a pipe billet and performing hot piercing on the pipe billet so as to obtain a pierced billet; and 4) processing the pierced billet to form the sleeve shaft of the CRDM. According to the method, the sleeve shaft of the CRDM can reach the requirement on mechanical properties and functions specified by RCCM through the optimized combination of the chemical components and the component control in the preparation process; the intercrystalline corrosion of the sleeve shaft is avoided during a sleeve shaft running process; and the service life of the sleeve shaft meets the requirements of the CRDM design specification and the national standard.
