Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing a titanium nitride/chromium nitride coating based on the microwave technology. The method comprises the following steps: (1) coating the surface of a workpiece with a layer of uniform and dense titanium-chromium material layer, wherein the titanium-chromium material is formed by mixing titanium powder, chromium powder and an adhesive; (2) putting the coated workpiece into a microwave device, and performing microwave heating in a nitrogen atmosphere; and (3) performing surface cleaning and polishing of the workpiece after the microwave effect to obtain a titanium nitride/chromium nitride coating on the surface of the workpiece. With a high heating speed, the method disclosed by the invention can obtain the required coatings with different thickness; and the binding force between the coating and the workpiece is strong.
