Abstract

The phenol-containing wastewater removal device comprises an activated carbon adsorption tank, a water storage pond, an alkaline liquid tank, a sodium phenolate solution tank, an acid liquid tank, an extraction tower, a solvent tank and a water pump, wherein the activated carbon adsorption tank comprises a first adsorption tank and a second adsorption tank which are connected in series. The removal process comprises the steps of flowing the phenol-containing wastewater through an activated carbon layer in the adsorption tank to regenerate adsorption-saturated activated carbon; then, continuing to adsorb wastewater after washing the saturated activated carbon to be neutral; reducing sodium phenolate into phenol in the sodium phenolate solution tank; and removing an oil layer in the extraction tower so as to recover phenols. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the process is simple in operation, good in water treatment effect, high in regeneration efficiency and capable of recycling activated carbon; in addition, phenol substances can be recovered after regenerated so that the wastewater treatment cost is greatly reduced.
