According to the illumination-magnesium ion double-crosslinking alginate hydrogel and the preparation method thereof, the magnesium ions are imported into a bracket through an ion crosslinking manner, so that the biological characteristic of the bracket is simply and effectively improved; at the same time, a main framework is formed through photo-crosslinking, so that the stability of the bracket is ensured; and through ultraviolet initiation and the slow crosslinking characteristic of the magnesium ions, the favorable controllability of the bracket is ensured.
