Abstract

The invention provides a preparation method of sulfydryl modified activated carbon for regenerating waste rubber. Sulfydryl modified activated carbon AC-SH is prepared by virtue of an esterification reaction between activated carbon and mercaptoacetic acid. Sulfydryl grafted on activated carbon can reach more than 3.12mmol / g. The preparation method is large in reaction activity and simple in preparation process; a sulfydryl modified activated carbon regeneration agent can be used for regenerating the waste rubber at room temperature by virtue of an ordinary rubber refining machine; meanwhile, because carbon is added in the regeneration process of regenerated rubber, the wear resistance can be improved, and the additive amount of carbon black can be reduced in the subsequent processing and modification processes. The process is less in dose of the regeneration agent, low in regeneration cost and good in performance of the regenerated rubber, and has good industrial application prospects.
