Problems solved by technology

In addition, ghrelin has anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrosis effects. Studies have reported that exogenous administration of ghrelin can alleviate acute lung injury caused by bleomycin or sepsis ( Nakazato M .etal. Eur J Pharmacol. 2011,672(1-3):153-8; Wang P.et al.Am J Respir Crit Care Med2007,176:805-13), but there is no report on the use of ghrelin for the prevention or / and treatment of radioactive lung injury

Abstract

The invention provides a novel medicinal application of ghrelin, namely application of ghrelin in prevention or / and treatment of radiation-induced lung injury, radiation-induced pneumonia and late pulmonary fibrosis. In-vivo experiments verify that the ghrelin is effective in the fields of prevention or / and treatment of radiation-induced lung injury, radiation-induced pneumonia and late pulmonary fibrosis. According to the novel medicinal application of the ghrelin, the ghrelin is creatively applied to prevention or / and treatment of radiation-induced lung injury, radiation-induced pneumonia and late pulmonary fibrosis, and a novel choice is provided to clinical treatment.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a new use of ghrelin, in particular to the use of ghrelin in preventing or / and treating radiation-induced lung injury. Background technique [0002] Lung cancer is one of the malignant tumors with high morbidity, poor treatment effect and highest cancer-related mortality. Radiation therapy is an important means of lung cancer treatment, about 50% of lung cancer patients need to receive radiation therapy. Radiation-induced lung injury (RILI) is the most common complication of radiotherapy for lung cancer, with an incidence of 10% to 20%. Radiation-induced lung injury manifests as radiation pneumonitis in the early stage, and progresses to radiation-induced pulmonary fibrosis in the later stage, leading to death in severe cases. At present, RILI still lacks effective prevention and treatment methods. Adrenocorticosteroids, broad-spectrum antibiotics, bronchodilators, and immunosuppressants are still the main means of tr...
