The EVM rubber is prepared from materials in parts by weight as follows: 40 parts of EVM700HV raw rubber, 60 parts of EVM500HV raw rubber, 1-3 parts of magnesium oxide, 1-3 parts of calcium oxide, 1-2 parts of stearic acid, 50-70 parts of carbon black, 30-50 parts of filler, 8-15 parts of processing oil, 2-6 parts of an anti-aging agent, 3-5 parts of tackifying resin, 5-8 parts of a peroxide vulcanizing agent and 3-4 parts of a vulcanizing agent. The invention further provides a preparation method of the EVM rubber. The EVM rubber and the preparation method have the advantages as follows: the EVM rubber adopts both the EVM700HV rubber and the EVM500HV rubber, the certain preparation method is matched, and the prepared rubber is excellent in high temperature resistance, oil resistance and ozone resistance.
