Abstract

The multi-mode traction drive system is connected with a traction power supply network through the full-power device in an electric locomotive, and the full-power device sequentially comprises an input stage, a middle isolation stage and an output stage. The multi-mode traction drive system based on the full-power device can be used in an alternating current power supply mode and a direct current power supply mode. The input stage is formed by n H-bridge type power conversion modules through series connection and cascade connection. The middle isolation stage consists of intermediate-frequency or high-frequency transformers of n input windings and m output windings. The output stage is composed of m H-bridge type power conversion modules.
