The device comprises a formation condition simulation system, a core saturated fluid system, a carbon dioxide injection system and a carbon dioxide measuring system. The invention further provides a method for measuring the retention rate of carbon dioxide in the oil displacement process, and by adopting the method, the measurement of the stage retention rate and the final retention rate of carbon dioxide in the oil displacement process of carbon dioxide can be independently completed. According to the method, a three-dimensional core is adopted as a core sample, the size can be adjusted, and the actual retention process of carbon dioxide in an oil reservoir can be simulated according to the design of similarity principle. The injection speed of carbon dioxide, the temperature of a simulated formation, the pressure of the simulated formation, saturated fluid of the core sample and other characteristics are adjustable, thereby having general applicability.
