Abstract

The invention discloses a high temperature resistant copolymer containing polyamide block and polyether block and a preparation method thereof. The copolymer consists of one or more polyamide blocks with homopolyamide or copolyamide at the dicarboxyl chain end and one or more polyether amines with at least two amino chain ends. The method comprises the following steps: putting nylon salt and polyether amine into a high-pressure reaction kettle, and reacting for 2-12 hours at 220-300 DEG C under a pressure of 1.2-3.0MPa for polymerization to obtain the polyamide-polyether block copolymer, wherein the polyamide block accounts for 51-99% of the total weight of the copolymer and consists of at least one semi-aromatic polyamide unit and at least one aliphatic polyamide unit or other polyamide units; and the polyether block accounts for 1-49% of the total weight of the copolymer. Compared with corresponding pure high temperature resistant polyamide materials, the copolymer disclosed by the invention has higher impact resistance, fluidity, barrier property and high-temperature resistance; and the melting point of the copolymer is 260-320 DEG C.
