A mutant strain of Saccharopolyspora pogona with high production of butenyl spinosad, Saccharopolyspora pogona S13, was preserved in China Center for Type Culture Collection on May 26, 2015. The deposit number is CCTCC NO: M 2015324. The synthetic ability of butenyl spinosyn in the mutant strain is 0.79 times higher than that of the original strain.
