Abstract

The invention provides a polyurethane foam dressing. A preparation method of the polyurethane foam dressing comprises the following steps of taking 100 grams of polyether polyol, 8-10 grams of diethylene glycol, 0.7-1.0 grams of imidazole catalyst, 1-2 grams of silicone oil stabilizer, 3-5 grams of borax and 2-3 grams of water; taking 10-15 grams of self-made CMC (carboxy methylated cellulose) with meshes of 1500 or 10-15 grams of self-made calcium alginate; uniformly mixing the components; and placing the mixture in a mold; and heating to 50+/-2 DEG C and then foaming for 3-4 hours to obtain medical sponge of which the foam density is 35kg per m(3). The polyurethane foam dressing has the advantages that liquid sucking amount can be increased by 30-50%, slough of a wound can be cleaned, moisture of the wound can be high, a warm therapy method of the wound can be formed, and wound healing is accelerated. Compared with the original PU (poly urethane) sponge, the polyurethane foam dressing has a healing promoting function.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of dressings and bandages, in particular to a polyurethane foam dressing. Background technique [0002] Polyurethane foam dressings are both viscous and water-absorbent. They can absorb body fluids while still maintaining a certain degree of viscous properties. They can be placed directly on the wound surface without irritation or allergy to the wound and surrounding skin. Therefore, they are widely used in the medical field. It can be used as medical adhesive tape, bandage, and surgical film, and is also suitable for patients with intestinal and urethral stomas. It also has good effects on burns, scalds, bedsores, and ulcers. A major problem encountered with common polyurethane foam dressings is their tendency to break down when exposed to aggressive fluids. When these compositions act as a skin barrier, they absorb fluid around the opening. After absorbing fluid, the hydrocolloid dispersed in the rubber ...
