Abstract

The present invention provides a bidirectional open-type machine tool outer cover. The bidirectional open-type machine tool outer cover comprises a pedestal, a front door, a front frame, a rear frame and a rear door, wherein the both front and rear frames are of an n-type frame structure, and observation windows are disposed both on top parts of the frames and on two side frames. The front frame and the rear frame are guided by two guide rails to slide, are light and convenient to move, and can stop at any position and be fixed at limiting positions. The front door can be turned by 270 degrees and integrally move with the front frame, such that a front space of a machine tool is fully opened; the rear door is of a turning insertion structure and can integrally move with the rear frame into the front frame after being inserted inside the rear frame, such that a rear space of the machine tool can be completely opened. The machine tool outer cover provided by the present invention provides the maximum operating space for bringing convenience for assembly and disassembly of workpieces, cutter setting and machine tool maintenance, and is especially applicable to machine tools which require wide operating space and wide views.
