Abstract

The nickel-cobalt alloy electroplating solution comprises 200-250 g / L nickel sulfate, 70-100 g / L of nickel chloride, 25-40 g / L of phosphoric acid, 5-15 g / L of cobaltous sulfate, 0.5-2 ml / L of a brightener and 0.05-0.2 g / L of an emulsifier; and the brightener is a mixture of a BE nickel plating brightener, propynol ethoxylate and saccharin. Bivalent cobalt ions contained in the electroplating solution and bivalent nickel ions together deposit on the surface of a plated workpiece at a cathode, and since cobalt is introduced in a plating layer, the porosity of the plating layer is reduced, and hardness, abrasion performance and brightness of the plating layer are improved.
