Abstract

The invention discloses a large diesel engine tail gas circulation treatment system and method. The system comprises an air cylinder, an air inflow system composed of a pure oxygen source and an inert gas source and an EGR system. The EGR system comprises a turbocharger, an intercooler, a scrubber, a gas-water separator and an EGR draught fan. The air inflow system and pure oxygen and inert gas of the EGR system are connected to the air inflow end of the air cylinder through valves in parallel. An air cylinder bypass device is connected to a pipeline between the turbocharger and the intercooler. By the adoption of the large diesel engine tail gas circulation treatment system, pure oxygen and inert gas are used for replacing original air, the oxygen concentration is increased, fuel is promoted to burn completely, and generation of solid particles is reduced; and due to the increase of the amount of circulating tail gas, the nitrogen element in the air is prevented from being converted into NOx, and generation of the NOx is reduced. By the adoption of the tail gas circulation treatment system, the amount of two main pollutants including the NOx and PM in diesel tail gas can be effectively reduced, and environmental protection is facilitated.
