Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of low-smoke-amount high-flame-retardancy synthetic leather. The preparation method includes: step 1, immersing base cloth after being unwound in a water solution of dimethyl formamide (DMF) for degreasing, and then ironing the base cloth, wherein concentration of the water solution of DMF is 5-10%; step 2, feeding the base cloth after being treated by the water solution of DMF and ironed into a coating machine to coat flame-retardant polyurethane size; step 3, allowing leather after being coated with the flame-retardant polyurethane size to stand for 90 s, and then allowing the leather to enter a solidification tank for solidification; step 4, after a coating is completely solidified, enabling the leather to sequentially pass a water washing tank, an oven and a cooling roller for water washing, drying and cooling to obtain a synthetic leather wet base; step 5, performing dry process overlaying on the wet base after being cooled to obtain the low-smoke-amount high-flame-retardancy synthetic leather. By using the preparation method, mechanical performance and hand feeling of the synthetic leather are unaffected while flame retardancy of the same is enabled to reach a flame retardant grade.
