Abstract

The invention discloses an air purification material taking a titanium dioxide photocatalyst as a base material and a preparation method thereof. The air purification material is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 30%-40% of nano titanium dioxide, 20%-35% of nano-grade diatomite, 2%-5% of vitamin C, 15%-20% of tourmaline, 5%-10% of yellow quartz, 1%-5% of a binding agent and 0.5%-1.5% of a dispersant. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing all the materials at a ratio; putting the materials, which are uniformly mixed, into a heating kettle provided with a stirring device, and carrying out a mixing reaction; injecting the materials into a molding mold, and granulating and shaping; sieving; and drying prepared grains. According to the purification material, a nano material is added and a specific light source is not needed; the air purification material has the air purification effect under the irradiation of the light source; meanwhile, the specific surface area is large and uniform, and harmful substances in the air can be effectively adsorbed and decomposed; the air purification material has sterilization, deodorization and odor-inhibition effects, and can be widely applied to indoor and in-vehicle sealed environments and the like.
