Low cost digital pocket dosemeter

The invention relates to a pocket type digital radiation dosemeter comprising of a detector, which converts the ionisation in the detector caused by the incidence of ionising radiation of certain energy range into electrical impulses, a low power pulse amplifier, that amplifies the electrical pulses from the detector to detectable amplitudes, a discriminator circuit, that is used to reject pulses of origin other than those caused by the ionising radiation, a programmable divider circuit for calibrating the dosemeter, an electronic counting circuit and a six digit LCD display. The sensitivity of the dosemeter is 1 count per μSv (micro Sievert) and the accuracy is within ±15% from 60 keV to 1.25 Mev of X or Gamma radiation. A metallic energy compensation filter and a discriminator threshold modulation circuit are used to provide uniform response within ±15% from 60 KeV to 1.25 MeV. The Digital display indicates at any instant the total X or Gamma radiation dose, in μSv, received by the dosemeter since the time at which the dosemeter was switched on. The dosemeter is designed for very low power consumption and is powered by two coin type Li batteries (Type CR2320). It is capable of over 500 hours of continuous operation before having to replace the batteries. A blinking LED indicates low battery condition when 8 hours of battery life is still left. The entire circuitry and the battery holder are mounted on a single printed circuit board. Surface mount components are used to make the unit compact. The dosemeter is compact (110 mm L×30 mm W×14 mm H excluding Clip) and light in weight (60 gm).

Method of preparing biomass high specific surface micro-pore carbon material

The present invention belongs to the preparation field of micropore carbon material, and relates to the preparation method for micropore carbon material with high specific surface area and narrow pore distribution by biomass. The biomass is cleaned and cut into subparagraph with a length of 1~3 centimeter, and then is subjected to carbonizing at 300~500 DEG C for 3~4 hours in the presence of inert atmosphere. The obtained carbonizing product is immerged into an alkaline solution for 20~24 hours until the carbonizing product is totally wetting, and then the carbonizing product is separated from the solution and is activated for 1.5~3 hours at 700~800 DEG C in the presence of inert atmosphere, and then is scrubbed by water until the pH value of the scrub solution is 7~8, and then the carbonizing product is immerged into a diluted acid solution for 4~5 hours and is scrubbed by water until the pH value of the scrub solution is 6~7, finally, the carbonizing product is dried at 80~120 DEG C to obtain micropore carbon material. The preparation method for the present invention has the advantages of that the preparation process is simple, the raw material is cheap and abundant, the preparation condition is free from zone limit; besides, the preparation method is adapted to industrial production.

The invention discloses a preenrichment-three segment suspension roasting-magnetic separation treatment method of complex refractory iron ores, and belongs to the technical field of mineral processing. The method comprises the following steps: 1, levigating the complex refractory iron ores, carrying out weak magnetic separation, and carrying out strong magnetic separation on mine tailings; 2, putting concentrate obtained after strong magnetic separation in a suspension roasting furnace, and heating to 450-800DEG C in a suspension state in order to carry out pre-oxidation roasting; 3, introducing nitrogen to displace air, and introducing a reducing gas to carry out reduction in a suspension loose state; 4, introducing air when the temperature decreases to 250-400DEG C in order to oxidize, taking out the obtained material when the temperature decreases to below 100DEG C, and carrying out ore milling; and 5, carrying out third segment magnetic separation, and mixing concentrate obtained after three segment magnetic separation with concrete obtained after the weak magnetic separation to obtain finial concentrate. The method has the advantages of simple process, improvement of the recovery rate of the complex refractory iron ores, strong adaptability, safe and reliable process, uniform and stable product quality, energy saving and consumption reduction.
