Solid-chemical compositions, geochemical binder system, and improved high-shear granulation process for both conventional and slow-release fertilizer and bioremediation nutrient compositions

This invention discloses advanced means for the formulation and preparation of solid-chemical compositions which provide sources of water-soluble nutrients, electron acceptors and other agents for agriculture and waste-treatment, in particular, the bioremediation of contaminated environmental media. The disclosed formulations and means of production of the slow-release solid-chemical compositions of the present invention utilize a novel and economical "biphasic" chemical-system technology which involves a combination of a first "nutrient" component (1) which comprises water-soluble nutrients and other biologically utilizable substances with a second component (2) which comprises an inorganic geochemical-binder system. The simplest embodiment of the geochemical-binder system comprises one or more salts of phosphoric acid. In the preferred embodiments of the present invention intended for the slow-release of the ingredients contained in the "nutrient" component (1), the geochemical-binder system of component (2) comprises a combination of one or more salts of phosphoric acid with a inorganic binder matrix preferably containing a mixture of low-solubility carbonates, carbonate minerals, phosphates and phosphate minerals. The different embodiments of the geochemical-binder system of this invention allows a wide variation of formulations of the nutrient component (1) to be prepared in both conventional and slow-release forms using an improved high-shear granulation process whereby the dangerous chemicals typically used in the granulation process are largely or completely replaced with water. The present invention discloses means by which such compositions can be economically prepared in large quantities so as to meet the specific needs of different sectors of the agricultural / agribusiness and phytoremediation / bioremediation markets. The disclosed solid-chemical compositions of the present invention provide improved, cost-effective means for slowing and controlling the release-rate profiles of water-soluble nutrients, such as nitrogen- and phosphorus-rich compounds, and improved means for enhanced and / or time-targeted nutrient uptake by plants and microorganisms. The present invention also provides improved means for the reduction of nutrient run-off from agricultural areas into surface waters and means of preventing or minimizing nutrient-contamination of ground-water aquifers.

Nanometer cellulose/polyvinyl alcohol gel composite material

The invention relates to a nanometer cellulose/polyvinyl alcohol gel composite material, which is characterized by comprising hydrogel and aerogel. A preparation method of the nanometer cellulose/polyvinyl alcohol gel composite material comprises the following process steps of 1, nanometer cellulose preparation by a chemical combination mechanical treatment method; 2, composite hydrogel preparation; and 3, composite aerogel preparation. The nanometer cellulose/polyvinyl alcohol gel composite material has the advantages that the composite aerogel belongs to a porous amorphous solid material consisting of nanometer level colloid particles or high-polymer molecules, and a unique open nanometer level porous structure and a continuous three-dimensional reticular structure are adopted, so the density is extremely low, the specific surface area is high, and the porosity is high, wherein the solid phase of the aerogel accounts for 0.2 percent to 20 percent of the total volume percentage, the characteristics of high adsorption catalytic capability, low thermal conductivity, low sound resistance, low refractive index and the like are shown, and wide application prospects are realized in the fields of aviation, spaceflight, chemical industry, metallurgy, energy-saving building and the like.

Resin composition and copper clad laminate prepared by metal foil coated with resin composition

The invention belongs to a chemical compound field, particularly referring to a resin compound and using the resin compound to coat a metal foil and applying a copper clad laminate made from the resin compound. The invention provides a halogen-free functional resin compound that has an excellent comparison tracking index or leakage resistance tracking characteristic, and a resin coated copper foil that is prepared by using the resin compound to coat a copper foil, namely a complex of the resin compound and the copper foil. The coated clad laminate prepared by the resin copper foil is used and has excellent comprehensive property, with the CTI of which being equal to and more than 400V. The resin compound of the invention overcomes the problems that in the prior art, the coated clad laminate with the CTI being equal to and more than 400V has dry flowers, exposed cloth marks and thickness and precision control, which is caused by the pre-leaching materials or bonding sheets when using reinforcing materials, meanwhile, product halogen free is realized, and the complex material of the resin compound and the copper foil has thinness, long storage period, flexible use and convenient management.
