Abstract

The invention discloses an earth atmosphere infrared background inhibition method based on a Markov autoregression model.The method comprises the steps of conducting spatially adaptive filtering on current image data to obtain the spatial restrain residual error; extracting background clutter disturbance points obtained after spatial filtering, and determining spatial model coefficients with the background clutter disturbance points as a sampling point set; determining time-domain model parameters based on the minimum mean square error criterion; acquiring an output result of spatial filtering by means of a time-space-domain unified model according to the spatial restrain residual error, the spatial model coefficients and the time-domain model parameters, and conducting self-adaption background estimation and differential treatment to obtain a filtering result.By the adoption of the method, minimization of the restrain residual error can be achieved, the capacity of restraining clutter background including cloud layers in space-based infrared detection is improved, clutter disturbance is reduced, and the contrast ratio and signal to noise ratio of a target are increased.
