Embodiment Construction

[0068] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0069] refer to Figure 1 to Figure 5 , a method for assessing the risk of cerebral infarction caused by head and carotid atherosclerotic plaques, the data collection and processing procedures are shown in figure 1middle. For individuals suspected of having atherosclerotic disease in the head and neck, use one or a combination of the following medical imaging equipment, ultrasound Doppler, transcranial Doppler, whole body CT, whole body MRI, for screening to determine the location of the lesion .

[0070] Quantitative analysis of plaque stability combined with plaque morphology, components, inflammation, and mechanical loads, and based on this, the risk of cerebral infarction can be obtained, including the following steps:

[0071] 1) Perform high-resolution magnetic resonance scanning of plaques to quantitatively determine the following characteristics of plaques: ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for assessing a cerebral infarction risk caused by head and neck atherosclerosis plaques. The method comprises the following steps of 1), performing high-resolution magnetic resonance scanning on the plaques, and quantitatively determining plaque features; 2), reconstructing a geometric structure of the plaques through a voxel superposition method according to an image obtained by high-resolution magnetic resonance, filling a bifurcated part with tissues to prevent contact, and calculating deformations and loads of the plaques; and 3), classifying plaque morphological structures, components, inflammation and born mechanical load parameters into rupture correlation and thrombosis correlation, assigning different danger coefficients to numerical values according to the specific numerical values of the parameters, and determining a rupture total risk numerical value and a thrombosis total risk numerical value by the following formula. The invention provides a method for effectively assessing the stability of the head and neck atherosclerosis plaques, and by the method, the cerebral infarction risk is divided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of medical image processing. Establish a method to evaluate the stability of atherosclerosis by magnetic resonance imaging and mechanical analysis, and further provide a method for evaluating the risk of cerebral infarction based on this. Background technique [0002] Atherosclerosis (Atherosclerosis) is the leading cause of stroke and myocardial infarction, and more than 30% of deaths per year are attributed to this disease, refer to literature 1 (WHO.Global status report on noncommunicable diseases 2014.Geneva,Switzerland,2014. World Health Organization. Global Report on Noncommunicable Diseases 2014. Geneva, Switzerland, 2014). At present, clinically, different imaging methods are used to judge the stability of atherosclerotic plaques in different arterial segments, and corresponding intervention strategies are formulated in combination with the basic health information of patients. For example, ultrasound Doppler...
