Embodiment Construction

[0014] The present invention will be described in further detail below, so that those skilled in the art can implement it with reference to the description.

[0015] The invention provides a glass clarification process, comprising:

[0016] Step (1) Mix 87-97 parts of raw materials in parts by weight with 3-6 parts of glass clarifier to obtain a mixture, heat the mixture to 1755-1765°C and melt it, and then cool down to 1520 Clarify at ~1530°C for 20-25 minutes, then raise the temperature to 1620-1630°C, and then cool down to 1520-1530°C to obtain glass liquid. The mass parts of each component in the glass clarifier is: nitrate 3-4 0.4 to 0.6 parts of tin oxide, wherein the nitrate is composed of the following components by weight percentage: 5 to 8 percent of sodium nitrate, 5 to 8 percent of potassium nitrate, 5 to 8 percent of magnesium nitrate, and 5 to 8 percent of aluminum nitrate % and ammonium nitrate 68 to 80%. In the present invention, the mixture is first heated t...

Abstract

The invention discloses a glass clarifying technology. The technology comprises the following steps: (1) mixing 87 to 97 parts by weight of raw materials with 3 to 6 parts by weight of glass clarifying agent to obtain a mixed material, heating the mixed material to a temperature of 1755 to 1765 DEG C so as to melt the mixed material, then cooling the mixed material to a temperature of 1520 to 1530 DEG C to clarify the mixed material, wherein the mixed material is clarified for 20 to 25 minutes, then heating the mixed material to a temperature of 1620 to 1630 DEG C, and cooling the mixed material to a temperature of 1520 to 1530 DEG C to obtain a glass liquid, wherein the glass liquid comprises the following components in parts by weight: 3 to 4 parts of nitrate, and 0.4 to 0.6 part of tin oxide, and the nitrate is composed of the following components in percentage by weight: 5 to 8% of sodium nitrate, 5 to 8% of potassium nitrate, 5 to 8% of magnesium nitrate, 5 to 8% of aluminum nitrate, and 68 to 80% of ammonium nitrate; and (2) moulding the glass liquid. The provided glass clarifying technology can effectively reduce the bubbles in glass.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a glass clarification process. Background technique [0002] Large quantities of gas are generated during the melting stage of glass production. Therefore, bubbles are the most common glass defect, which will affect the appearance, transparency, mechanical strength, optical uniformity, etc. of glass products, and the annual loss caused by this is more than hundreds of millions of dollars all over the world. With the increasingly severe market competition, customers have higher and higher quality requirements, so all glass manufacturers try their best to take measures to reduce bubble defects. The most common way to eliminate bubbles is to increase the melting temperature and clarification temperature. Aluminosilicate glass (Al2O3>12%) manufactured by the float process has the disadvantages of difficulty in melting, clarification and homogenization, heavy glass reinforcement, and many bubble defects. In the state of no clari...
