Abstract

The invention discloses a novel phase locked source module. The module comprises a phase lock chip, a control module, a VCO, a configuration downloading module, a temperature complementation crystal oscillator and a power amplifier. The phase lock chip is the ADF406 phase lock chip of the ADI company. A programmable frequency divider and a phase discriminator can be integrated in the phase lock chip with quite high frequency resolution. A single chip microcomputer port is arranged on a phase locked source circuit, so automatic correction within quite small frequency deviation can be achieved. According to the invention, by fully using the high resolution of the phase lock chip, and combining the developability and flexibility of the program of the single chip microcomputer, an objective to carry out the automatic correction within quite small frequency deviation can be achieved. By adopting an externally-arranged independent VCO, quite small phase noise is achieved and a purer spectrum source is provided for the next grade. A micro-strip coupling mode which is quite low in energy consumption is adopted in the phase demodulation link, so power loss can be greatly reduced. An indicator lamp through which phase lock states can be observed is added.
