Abstract

The invention discloses a method for rapid propagation of a jackfruit seedling. The method comprises the steps that an annual branch with half of or a leaf is selected, after the lower end of the annual branch is immersed in a rooting agent for 30 min, a healing smearing preparation and pond sludge are smeared on upper and lower notches, and then the annual branch is inserted into perlite in a cuttage mode, and sprayed with water through a nebulization sprayer; and the rooting agent is a mixed fluid, with concentrations of IBA, NAA and GA being 160 mg/L, 40 mg/L and 20 mg/L, prepared through IBA powder, NAA powder and GA powder which are dissolved sufficiently through ethyl alcohol with a mass fraction being 75%. According to the method, the used branch is the annual branch, the regeneration capacity of histocytes is strong, and the amount of germs is low; with using of the rooting agent with an optimum proportion and a loose and breathable matrix, under a condition of a suitable humidity and temperature, the branch is sufficient in moisture, and a wound is breathable; and germ infection is prevented through the yellow mud wrapped on the lower portion of the branch, and additionally the yellow mud provides nutrition for the branch. By applying of the method, the cottage rooting speed of a jackfruit seedling is accelerated, the survival rate of cuttage is increased, cost of seedling culture is reduced, and great development of the jackfruit industry can be promoted.
