The rubber sheath material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 60-80 parts of acrylic rubber, 1 part of a lubricant, 2.5 parts of a vulcanizing agent, 1 part of a crosslinking aid, 200-220 parts of a flame retardant, 1 part of an anti-ageing agent, 5 parts of a plasticizer, 0.5 part of a processing aid and 1 part of a coupling agent, wherein the flame retardant contains a flame retardant master batch, zinc borate and silane-processed magnesium hydrate. The low-temperature resistance of the rubber sheath material can reach -40 DEG C, and the rubber sheath material can resist the ASTM3# oil; meanwhile, the flame retardance of the rubber sheath material is excellent, and the oxygen index of the rubber sheath material can reach above 34, so that the rubber sheath material is applicable to high-performance production requirements.
