Abstract

The method comprises steps that a fault tree is pre-processed to acquire asimplified fault tree; bottom event ordering of the simplified fault tree is carried out, before the fault tree is converted into a BDD structure, the bottom event ordering sequence is firstly determined, and bottom event ordering is carried out through employing the bottom event ordering method based on priority; according to the acquired bottom event ordering sequence, the fault tree is converted into the BDD structure according to an If-Then-Else operator of the Shannon principle; traversal of the BDD structure is carried out, all the paths taking 1 as terminal nodes of the BDD structure are searched, and all the paths forms a cut set of the fault tree. The method is advantaged in that calculation cost is reduced through reducing the scale of the BDD, memory consumption of the fault tree analysis method is effectively reduced, and calculation efficiency is further improved.
