Abstract

The present invention discloses two pairs of PCR-SSCP primer pairs for detecting UCP1 gene mutation, wherein the two PCR-SSCP primer pairs respectively are P5 and P6, and the nucleotide sequences of the forward primers and the reverse primers are represented by SEQ ID NO.1-4 in the sequence table. The invention further provides applications of the two PCR-SSCP primer pairs in yak meat quality trait prediction and identification methods, an identification method, and a corresponding kit.
