Abstract

For effectively increasing damping channel length, a pipeline is enabled to be distributed around a middle piston, a flow direction of magnetorheological fluid in the damping regulator is perpendicular to a direction of a magnetic field, and magnetic-circuit designing criteria are met. In working, a piston rod under the action of external force forces the magnetorheological fluid to flow from an oil guiding pipe of one chamber of the workingcylinder into the damping regulator, and return to the other chamber through multi-level circumferential flow, and a pressure drop is formed in flow to generate corresponding damping force on the piston rod. Through controlling an excitation current of the damping regulator, intensity of the magnetic field in a circumferential flow channel is changed, then flow characteristics of the magnetorheological fluid are controlled, and thus damping force of a magnetorheological-fluid shock absorber is controlled.
