The sintered water-permeable brick comprises a surface material and a bottom material, wherein the bottom material comprises the following main raw materials in parts by mass: 80-100 parts of the archaized brick broken material, 3-12 parts of a bonding base material and 3-12 parts of liquid glue; the surface material comprises the following main raw materials in parts by mass: 0-30 parts of the archaized brick broken material, 0-4 parts of a bonding base material, and 0-4 parts of liquid glue; the bonding base material is one or more of bentonite and clay; and the liquid glue is one or more selected from the group consisting of a silica sol solution, a polyacrylamide solution anda guar gum solution. Correspondingly, the invention discloses a preparation method of the sintered water-permeable brick produced by using the archaized brick broken material.
