Problems solved by technology
[0005] In 2005, Schnabel et al. combined SSR markers and indel markers to study the control of milk production in dairy cows, and successfully carried out fine mapping. At the same time, they proposed that the formation mechanisms of indel and SNP may be different, but their evolutionary history is similar.
Due to its extensive role, in recent years, the polymorphism of the DNA sequence of the ATBF1 gene has also become a research hotspot. It also plays an important role in the growth and development of ATBF1 gene. It has been reported that the SNP polymorphism in the ATBF1 gene is significantly correlated with the growth traits of goats and cattle (Zhang et al., 2015; Xu et al., 2017), while the ATBF1 gene There is no report on the correlation between indel polymorphism and growth traits of livestock and poultry

Abstract
The invention discloses a detection method and application of goat ATBF1 (AT motif binding factor 1) gene indel (insertion / deletion) polymorphism and an application of the detection method. The wholegenome DNA of a to-be-detected goat is taken as a template, primer pairs P1 and P2 are taken as primers, part of fragments of the goat ATBF1 gene is amplified with a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) technology, and then AGE (agarose gel electrophoresis) is performed for identifying the indel site polymorphism of the goat ATBF1 gene. Correlation analysis results reveal that different genotypes of the indel site of the ATBF1 gene are significantly associated with the body height and chest circumference of northern Shaanxi white cashmere goats, Guanzhong milk goats and Hainan black goats and disclose that the genotype of the indel site of ATBF1 gene can be used as DNA markers for improving the body height and chest circumference of the goats. The detection method can be applied to goat marker-assisted selection breeding and is good for quickly establishing goat genetic resource populations with excellent body size characteristics.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of biotechnology and livestock breeding, and relates to the detection of gene insertion / deletion polymorphism (indel), in particular to a method for rapidly and accurately detecting the 12-bp insertion / deletion polymorphism at position NC_030825.1:g.72771 of goat ATBF1 gene. Methods for 6-bp insertion / deletion polymorphic sites at position NC_030825.1:g.112482. Background technique [0002] Animal breeding technology mainly includes conventional breeding technology based on phenotype and phenotypic value and molecular breeding technology based on DNA polymorphism. As an important part of molecular breeding technology system, molecular marker-assisted selection (MAS) breeding technology is widely used in actual breeding work. MAS breeding technology can quickly and accurately analyze the genetic composition of individuals at the DNA level, transfer the target gene to the parent that needs to be improved through hybrid...
