Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless ad hoc network carrier detection channel access method based on time / power two-dimensional backoff. According to the success situation of current data frame transmission of a node, the size of a backoff window and the value of a transmission power of the node are adjusted jointly based on a time / power two-dimensional backoff algorithm; if the node fails to send adata frame, the probability of participating in a competition channel by the node at the time dimension is reduced by increasing a backoff window; and the interference signal strength of the node atthe spatial dimension is reduced by reducing the transmission power. Meanwhile, a relationship among a network saturation throughput, a transmission power and a competition window is analyzed by constructing a three-dimensional Markov chain model and values of an optimal transmission power and a completion window level are determined under certain network scale conditions. The simulation result shows that performances in terms of the network throughput, data packet delay and average energy consumption reduction can be improved by using the method disclosed by the invention.
