The method includes, in order, drilling a U-shaped well in a hydrothermal geothermal layer, the U-shaped well being a horizontal section in the geothermal layer, and performing casing to complete the well; placing an oil pipe in a casing pipe, the horizontal section oil pipebeing in a thread shape to enlarge contact areas of heat exchange; preferably selecting an appropriate working medium, injecting the working medium in one end of the U-shaped well, the working mediumbeing in liquid state when being injected and turning into gaseous state after performing heat exchange with the geothermal layer in the horizontal section through heat absorption, and exploiting theworking medium from the other end of the U-shaped well; arranging multiple temperature sensors, pressure sensors and flow sensors in the well opening and the horizontal section so that underground conditions can be monitored in real time; and turning the generated gas into liquid state after the gas is used for power generation on ground or heat exchange with other media, re-injecting the workingmedium in liquid state in the injecting end, and cycling the above steps.
