This invention provides a flash-
organic Rankine cycle power generation system and method that couples geothermal and solar thermal power generation, relating to the field of
geothermal power generation technology. It includes: a geothermal
irrigation unit; a solar thermal collection unit comprising a solar collector and a
phase change energy storage device; a
flash evaporation power generation unit comprising a flash
evaporator, a
heat exchanger, and a first
steam turbine generator set, connected to the geothermal
irrigation unit and the solar thermal collection unit, capable of using steam generated from
geothermal water produced by the geothermal
irrigation unit to drive the first
steam turbine generator set for power generation; and an
organic Rankine cycle power generation unit comprising a condenser, a
working fluid circulation pump, a preheater, an
evaporator, and a second
steam turbine generator set, connected to the solar thermal collection unit, capable of using the
heat transfer medium produced by the solar thermal collection unit to generate steam through the
evaporator to drive the second steam
turbine generator set for power generation, and using the
heat transfer medium produced by the solar thermal collection unit as the heat source for the
heat exchanger. This invention solves the problems of discontinuous and unstable
solar power generation and the limitation of
geothermal power generation by the temperature of the geothermal source in existing technologies.
