preparation example 1

[0103] Preparation example 1: polymethyl methacrylate

[0104]1000 g of a monomer mixture comprising 98% by weight of methyl methacrylate and 2% by weight of methyl acrylate was added to a 5L reactor, and 2000 g of distilled water, 8.4 g of 5% polyvinyl alcohol solution (POVAL PVA217, manufactured by Kuraray Co. Ltd.) and 0.1 g of boric acid as a dispersing aid and dissolved. 2.5 g of n-octylmercaptan as a chain transfer agent and 1.5 g of 2,2′-azobisisobutyronitrile as a polymerization initiator were added thereto and dispersed in the water phase while stirring at 400 rpm to prepare a suspension solution. The temperature was raised to 80°C to perform polymerization for 90 minutes, and then the resultant was cooled to 30°C. The beads thus obtained were washed with distilled water, dehydrated, and then dried to prepare a polymethylmethacrylate resin. The glass transition temperature and molecular weight of the prepared resin were measured, and as a result, the glass transitio...

[0105] Preparation Example 2: Polycarbonate

[0106] As the polycarbonate, a polycarbonate resin (UF 1004A, manufactured by LG Chem) having a glass transition temperature of 134° C. and a weight average molecular weight of 16,000 was used.

[0107] Preparation Example 3: Primer Solution

[0108] Based on the solid content, polyester-based resin (A-645GH, Takamatsu Oil & Fat, total solid content except water: 30% by weight) and polyurethane-based resin (CK-PUD-PF, Chokwang Paint, except water Total solids content: 30% by weight) mixed in a weight ratio of 80:20. 5% by weight of aqueous silica was mixed thereinto to prepare a primer solution.

Abstract

According to the present invention, an optical film can implement a zero phase difference while using an acrylic resin which does not include a cyclic structure in a main chain and also can obtain excellent adhesion to a PVA element which is a polarizing plate. The optical film includes a base layer and a primer layer formed on the base layer. The base layer includes the acrylic resin and polycarbonate.

Description

technical field [0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims Korean Patent Application No. 10-2016-0120104 filed with the Korean Intellectual Property Office on September 20, 2016 and Korean Patent Application No. 10-2017-0119830 filed with the Korean Intellectual Property Office on September 18, 2017 Priority and benefit of , the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. [0003] The present invention relates to an optical film having high adhesiveness and a polarizing plate including the same. Background technique [0004] Liquid crystal displays use polarized light. For this, polarizers are used, and usually PVA elements are used. However, polarizing plates such as PVA elements themselves have weak mechanical properties and are easily affected by external environments such as temperature or humidity. Therefore, a protective film for protecting a polarizing plate is required. [0005] Such a protectiv...
